RB POS

The RB POS (Point of Sale) is a comprehensive solution, covering hardware and software, allowing users to process payments and complete customer purchases.

It can facilitate customer-facing sales including issuing receipts and tickets (if necessary).

RB POS Additional Features​

Allow Room Charge for PMS users.​

For RoomBoss PMS users, customers can purchase on POS with Room Charge payments, so that the customer can pay at once at their checkout.

Integration with SKIDATA​

After purchasing on POS, the bookings sync with SKIDATA automatically, which generates an unique barcode that can go through SKIDATA gates. (If you are interested in this functionality, please contact RoomBoss)

Integration with Square Terminal​

RoomBoss POS integrates with Square Terminal only. Other Square devices (such as Square Reader, Square Stand, etc.) are not supported.

When connected:

  • The payment amount is automatically sent to the Square Terminal.
  • Staff simply confirm the payment on the device.
  • This reduces manual input and minimizes human error.
Setup Options​

  1. Ship the device to RoomBoss
    We complete the full setup and return the terminal ready for use.

  2. Remote setup
    Part of the setup is required to perform by yourself. A online meeting is also needed to complete the setting.

POS Sales Desks​

When signing in to POS, it is necessary to select a Sales Desk.

Navigate → Account → Sales Desk

Any booking made will be recorded as being made from that Sales Desk.
