Log Files
RoomBoss follows a standard procedure of using log files. These files log users when they visit websites. All hosting companies do this as a part of hosting services’ analytics. The information collected by log files include internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and website interaction metrics such as clicks and site usage behaviour.
Cookies & Web Beacons
Cookies are used to store information including users’ preferences, and the pages on the website that the user accessed or visited, helping to customise our web page and application content based on users’ browser type and/or other information. Users can choose to disable cookies through their individual browser options, but this may affect the browsing experience.

Other data, such as log files and device identifiers are typically not linked to any information that is personally identifiable. The purpose of this information is for analysing trends, administering the site, tracking users’ movement on the website, and gathering demographic information.

Personal information is used to communicate with users regarding third-party and RoomBoss services via channels such as email, telephone and SNS. Personal information may also be used to notify users of related promotions, updates, and events. If a user notifies RoomBoss that they do not wish to receive such contact, related communications from RoomBoss will be suspended.

Users are advised to keep any and all account credentials or booking-related information (such as user passwords or Booking IDs) private and secure towards the prevention of unwanted access to system accounts and/or booking information.
