Stop Sell

Stop selling a product on a day will mean that no booking can be made for this product that crosses that day.

So for example setting Stop sell on the 15th of January means:

  • A 1 day booking starting on the 15th January is not possible

  • A 2 (or 3,4…) day booking starting on the 14th January is not possible (but a 1 day is)

  • A 3 (or 4,5…) day booking starting on the 13th January is not possible (but a 1 or 2 day is)

  • …

Stop sell is used to prevent more sales on day it is typically used for cases where there is no more availability for a product for a day.

Stop Sell can be set product by product or across all products for a vendor.

For Example

If a ski rental store was running out of ski availability for 26th a stop sell could be used to prevent any new booking for a product that uses skis on the 26th December.

Close to Start

Setting Close to Start a product on a day will mean that no booking can be made for this product that commences on the day, booking crossing the day can still be made.

So for example setting Close to Start on the 15th of January means:

  • A 1 day booking starting on the 15th January is not possible

  • A 2 (or 3,4…) day booking starting on the 14th January is possible

  • A 3 (or 4,5…) day booking starting on the 13th January is possible

  • …

Close to Start is used to prevent more sales that start on a day it is typically used for cases where the limitation on sales is operational rather than due to availability.

Close to Start can be set product by product or across all products for a vendor.

For Example

If a ski rental store needed to close for a day on the 26th December Close to Start could be used to prevent any new booking that commence on the 26th December. This would not prevent bookings that require availability on the 26th from being made only those that commence on that day.
