FAQ
Q1 What happens when availability changes in RoomBoss?
RoomBoss will automatically update availability on channels.
Q2 Is there any chance of overbooking?
Yes, there is a small chance that overbooking can occur. This is due to the time it takes for RoomBoss to update availability across your channels. It is a small risk that is part and parcel of working with multiple channels.
Q3 How is the channel recorded inside RoomBoss?
The channel will be recorded within the notes of the booking and in the booking Segment.
Q4 I received a "[RoomBoss Channel Manager] … Availability Push Failed" email. What does it mean and what should I do?
RoomBoss tried to send an availability update to the named OTA and the OTA did not accept it. The email is sent to you and to the RoomBoss support team at the same time, and RoomBoss retries automatically. In most cases no action is needed. If the email keeps arriving, or you cannot see our support team's reply within a day, please check on the OTA's extranet that your availability for the property and dates named in the email is correct, and tell us what you find: for Trip.com, Rakuten and Jalan we cannot see your availability ourselves.
