Limiting Selectable Payment Methods
By default, the Payment Method dropdown displays all registered payment methods in the Financial tab of the Edit a Booking page. A long list of payment methods can make it easier for staff to select the wrong option, especially if they are seasonal or temporary staff who may not be familiar with your accounting processes.
Limiting the selectable payment methods helps keep the dropdown focused on the options that are relevant to your team and your business. This can make payment records more consistent and easier for accounting staff to reconcile.
How It Works
Review the payment methods currently available in RoomBoss and decide which ones your staff should continue using.
For example, your business may only want staff to select methods such as cash, Expedia Collect, Booking.com Paid Online, or Rakuten Collect. RoomBoss Support can then help hide the other payment methods from the dropdown list.
To limit which payment methods appear in the dropdown list, please contact the RoomBoss Support Team with the list of payment methods you would like to keep selectable.
