Guest Segment

Guest Segments can be manually or automatically assigned to bookings to assist with identifying and categorising guest groups for accounting or reporting purposes.

To support CRM RoomBoss allows users to define and use a set of guest labels called Guest Segments.

Some examples of things you could use Guest Segments to keep track of are:

  • Owners

  • Owners Friends

  • Repeat Guests

  • VIP Guests

Managing Segments

To access the Guest Segments setup page:

Navigate to Product Setup → Guest Segment

If you have none, click Create New Segment to start. If you already have segments, click the + icon on the bottom right to start. Enter a Name and choose a colour if desired.

Setting Segments

To label a guest with a segment once your segments are created, navigate to the Guests tab of a booking and Edit the guest you are targeting, choose the segment you which to use from the drop down and Save.

The previously created Guest Segments will be shown in this drop-down menu.

Mailchimp

Guest Segments can also be included in your push to Mailchimp and used to filter lists when emailing. See more on Mailchimp here.
