Email Language
Using the different email language options available
If a Language has been set on the Guests tab of the Edit A Booking page and an email template exists for that language, emails will be sent in the corresponding language.
If no language has been set for a guest, the English language template will be used.
Exceptions to this are as follows:
No Language set, Residency is set as Japan, Japanese template exists - Japanese template will be used.
No Language set, Residency is set as China, Simplified Chinese template exists - the Simplified Chinese template will be used.
Note that when a booking is created, RoomBoss neither receives the guest’s language nor their residency from the OTA.
If you are using Automated Emails, guests will receive emails using the English language template unless the language is set on the Guests tab of the Edit A Booking page.
