How to setup Messages - Account Wide

This field can be used to enter payment conditions, bank details, terms and conditions and general instructions for the guest on the invoice, receipt or on the Guest Intranet Page.

For accounts with multiple vendors, details apply to all vendors in your account.

To edit or setup Messages - Account Wide:

  1. Navigate to Product Setup → Rich Messages

  2. Click on the Messages - Account Wide tab

  3. Select the message type and language from the drop down menu

  4. Enter the message text

  5. Click Save

Invoice Address

Enter your company name and address in this field.

Information entered here is visible in booking confirmations as well as invoices available for download on the Guest Intranet Message or from the Financial tab on the Edit a Booking page in RoomBoss.

Invoice Message

Information entered here is visible in booking confirmations as well as invoices available for download on the Guest Intranet Message or from the Financial tab on the Edit a Booking page in RoomBoss.

Receipt Message

Information entered here will appear on receipts available for download on the Guest Intranet Page or from the Financial tab on the Edit a Booking page in RoomBoss.

Guest Intranet Message

This can be used to provide the guest with important or useful information on the Guest Intranet Page such as:

  • Booking Terms and Conditions

  • Useful pre-arrival information

  • Provide check-in registration links to allow the guest to complete the registration form prior to arrival

If cutting/copying and pasting from another text editor, the style and formatting may also be copied. To avoid this, please use paste as plain text or paste from a text editor that does not use formatting.

After saving a rich message, please note it can take up to 15 minutes before changes will take effect.
