Cleaning tasks can be managed on a booking by booking basis on the Edit A Booking page or bulk generated using Mass Update for bookings in a selected date range.
When a booking is made it will be set to the default cleaning schedule for its room type (unless another schedule is selected at this time).
Once a booking has been made, the schedule can be changed.
On the Edit A Booking page, click Edit under Additional Stay Details. Choose one of the schedules associated with the room type from the drop down menu and click Save.
Any Room Notes added here will appear on the report generated for cleaners.
Under Additional Stay Details, it is also possible to include or exclude a booking from the bulk update by setting the Housekeeping Update policy.
To manually edit cleaning:
On the Edit A Booking page, click Edit under Housekeeping Details.
From here you can generate cleans from the selected schedules, add and delete cleans individually or clear all cleans.
If you make changes to the cleaning in a booking these will be overwritten when the housekeeping mass update is run. Unless the Housekeeping Update policy for the booking is set to Don’t Auto Update Cleans, this can be changed in the Additional Stay Details.
In situations when the Stay Details are modified before Check-In, the system will automatically update the Housekeeping events
If the Stay Details are modified after the Check-In, the system will not update the Housekeeping events. Even though the Housekeeping events are not updated automatically, the System will display Alerts on the page and automatically create a Task to guide Users to make changes to the Housekeeping events.

To bulk generate cleans:
Navigate to Operations → Housekeeping Report and click the Mass Update tab.
Choose the appropriate date range and click Update.
This will create all cleaning events for bookings in a selected date range.. The cleaning schedule associated with each booking will be used to generate cleans.
Cleans will not be generated for bookings where the Housekeeping Update policy is set to Don’t Auto Update Cleans.
