Cancel a Reservation

If the guest wants to cancel a booking or you are cancelling a booking because the guest has not paid:

  1. On the Edit A Booking page, under Booking Status, Click Edit and change the Status to Cancelled and click Save.

  2. Ensure any awaiting Tasks in the booking are marked as Completed or Won't Complete.

  3. A booking cancelled email will be automatically sent to the guest.

  4. You will receive a notification email stating that the booking has been cancelled.

The format of the email subject will be as below: [RoomBoss] [My Hotel] 660876 Booking Cancelled (My Hotel)

Cancellation emails will only be sent to the guest if Reservation Cancellation Email is enabled in Automated Emails and a Reservation Cancelled is set for Automated Email in Rich Messages.
