Manage Room Availability in Neppan

After we activate the connection the number of rooms available in Neppan is controlled via RoomBoss.

You need to:

Remove any available rooms that you have manually set inside Neppan.

Go to thepage inside RoomBoss and set the CAP for dates and room types that you would like to sell via Neppan.

For dates where the CAP is set, RoomBoss will automatically synchronise availability to Neppan. There is no need to manually update available rooms in Neppan. In fact you should avoid doing so as RoomBoss will override your changes, plus it could risk overbooking.

Receive New Bookings from Neppan

Bookings received into Neppan after the time Neppan marked bookings as 'delivered to PMS' will automatically be created in your RoomBoss account.

You will receive the usual booking notification email, and the booking channel will be Neppan.

When a booking is created, RoomBoss does not receive the guest’s language from Neppan. If you are using auto-emailing, guests will receive emails using the English language template unless you set the language and/or residency to Japanese via the Guests tab on the Edit a Booking page.

Receive Booking Updates from Neppan

Booking updates are received from Neppan if, for example, your guest changes dates or cancels their booking on the OTA they booked via (such as booking.com).

For new bookings that were received into RoomBoss from Neppan (the normal situation) booking updates from Neppan will automatically update the booking in RoomBoss. You should not manually change any such bookings.

Please note for any Neppan booking that you manually entered into RoomBoss (e.g. if you used Neppan prior to integrating with RoomBoss) you will need to manually update the booking. RoomBoss will send a notification email to you in this case which includes the Neppan booking ID, the OTA id and the guest booking name and dates for your reference.

Availability For Channel Managers
