Allow Bookings Via Trust Owner Statements

It is possible to allow owners to make bookings via their owner reports.

This is enabled via Edit Account Details in the Owner Statements section.

Owners can be allowed to make bookings for available dates, 0 to 730 days in to the future, with a maximum booking length of 28 days.

If an Owner contact email is set, this will be displayed on the owner reports and cc'd on notification emails when owners book.

Once turned on, owners will be able to access a booking page via their owner statement, this page will show available dates for their property(s):

Owners will be able to enter bookings for dates with Reservation and Request status.

For dates entirely in a Reservation period:

  • A Reservation will be made and manually allocated to the owners unit.

  • The owner will be informed on screen that a confirmed booking has been made for their unit.

  • A notification email will be sent to the user (the owner will not receive an email).

For dates overlapping a Request period:

  • A Reservation will be made:

    • If there are booked dates manually allocated to the owners unit that overlap the booking, and the booking will not be allocated to the owners unit.

    • If not, then the booking will be allocated to the owners unit.

  • The owner will be informed on screen that a request has been made for their unit.

  • A notification email will be sent to the user (the owner will not receive an email).

For the Request case, the user will need to confirm if the booking can be allocated to the owners unit and follow up with the owner.

Setting to allow owners to make bookings from min 14 to maximum 730 days into the future and adding owner contact email.
