Agent Booking Requests

How to process agent booking requests

Agents can be given access to make Reservations (confirmed bookings) or Requests (bookings that require confirmation by you).

New Request

When you receive an enquiry from an agent, a booking request will be generated in RoomBoss and you will receive a notification email. You may respond to the agent's enquiry directly by replying to the notification email.

The format of the email subject will be as below: [RoomBoss] [My Hotel] 660876 New Booking REQUEST (Agent Name)

If the agent wants to confirm a booking/change a Request to a Reservation:

  1. On the Edit A Booking page, under Booking Status, Click Edit and change the Type from REQUEST to RESERVATION, click Save.

  2. Invoices will be created automatically on the booking.

  3. Download the invoice(s) from the Financial tab and send this to the agent via the notification email.

  4. Once the change has been saved, you will receive a notification email.

The format of the email subject will be as below: [RoomBoss] [My Hotel] 660876 Booking Confirmed (Agent Name)

If the agent wants to cancel a Request:

  1. On the Edit A Booking page, under Booking Status, Click Edit and change the State from Active to Cancelled, click Save.

  2. Once the change has been saved, you will receive a notification email.

The format of the email subject will be as below: [RoomBoss] [My Hotel] 660876 Booking Cancelled REQUEST (Agent Name)
