How to setup Messages - Vendor Specific

This field can be used to enter payment conditions, bank details, and/or general instructions that apply to only one vendor. These message will only appear on documents for bookings which include this vendor.
To edit or setup Messages - Vendor Specific:
Navigate to Product Setup → Rich Messages
Click on the Messages - Vendor Specific tab
Select the Vendor drop down menu
Select the message type and language from the drop down menu
Enter the message text
Click Save
Information entered here will be shown on the booking confirmation PDF available for download on the on the Edit a Booking page in RoomBoss.
When a guest is using the RoomBoss booking widget to make a reservation, the information entered here will appear in a pop up window with your internet reservation conditions when a guest clicks on the Book Now or Send Inquiry button. It will not allow the guest to proceed until they click on the Accept button and thereby accepting your terms and conditions. For steps on how to enable Internet Reservation Conditions, click here.

Information entered here is visible in booking confirmations as well as invoices available for download on the Guest Intranet Message or from the Financial tab on the Edit a Booking page in RoomBoss.
This can be used to provide the guest with important or useful information on the Guest Intranet Page such as:
Booking Terms and Conditions
Useful pre-arrival information
Provide check-in registration links to allow the guest to complete the registration form prior to arrival
This allows you to customise Registrations Forms used by Front Desk HQ during check-in with additional content such as terms and conditions, maps and other useful/important information.
For condition based special offers and discounts, this allows you to display a message explaining the conditions that must be met for the guest to be eligible.
Currently the criteria is determined by region (country and post/zip code) and eligibility is decided by how the guests answers questions in drop down menus below the intro message.
This will show If a guest has been deemed ineligible for a special offer or discount from their answers to the Widget Eligibility Intro Message as mentioned above.
If cutting/copying and pasting from another text editor, the style and formatting may also be copied. To avoid this, please use paste as plain text or paste from a text editor that does not use formatting.
After saving a rich message, it can take up to 15 minutes before changes will take effect.
