Navigate to Product Setup → Product Details

Under the Room Types tab, details about the room(s) can be set and updated.
Within this section you can update details of the Room Type such as:
The Name of the Room Type
Toggle the status between Active / Inactive
Set the Occupancy for this Room Type. This setting will define the Rates per occupancy that can be applied to this room type.
Select details specifying the type of room eg. is the room ensuite?
Configure bedding options. By ticking Compulsory, guests/agents will be forced to choose this upon booking
Upload images for this room type. They are visible to potential guests within the Accommodation booking widget and will be displayed when viewing this specific Room Type
It is possible to set up user defined room options in RoomBoss. These could be options for bedding, breakfast, smoking or non-smoking rooms. These option could then be selected in each booking and would appear on reports and downloads.
Using the example of bedding, to set up:
The above screen shot reflects the bedding setup for a 2br apartment with one ensuite bedroom which can be setup with Twin or Double beds and one bedroom which can be setup as Double only. Once setup, the user will be able to set bedding options when making or editing a booking as below:
Bedding options chosen here would appear on the Housekeeping report.
Room details and options can be entered in several languages. Currently supported are, English, Japanese, Chinese (simplified or traditional), French and Korean. If you enter several languages here products and options will be displayed to users in the language they choose.
When switching between languages, please be sure to save before switching. Without clicking the
Descriptions can be added for each Room Type, as well as a general description for the vendor at the top.
To be able to add a description for a Room Type, the Room Type first needs to be created from the Room Types tab. RoomBoss allows you to add/edit descriptions for both Active and Inactive Room Types.
To display the rooms that belong to each of the Room Types you have available, choose the Rooms tab.
This tab will show you the Name, Status and Room Type (Default Type) of each of the rooms in your Accommodation.
If you have a Dual Key configuration for your rooms, the Parent Room Type for each room will also be shown here.

By clicking the image, you can edit existing room types.
On the Room Types tab, click next to the product you wish to edit:
