Cancel a Reservation
If the guest wants to cancel a booking or you are cancelling a booking because the guest has not paid:
On the Edit A Booking page, under Booking Status, Click Edit and change the Status to Cancelled and click Save.
Ensure any awaiting Tasks in the booking are marked as Completed or Won't Complete.
A booking cancelled email will be automatically sent to the guest.
You will receive a notification email stating that the booking has been cancelled.
The format of the email subject will be as below: [RoomBoss] [My Hotel] 660876 Booking Cancelled (My Hotel)
Cancellation emails will only be sent to the guest if Reservation Cancellation Email is enabled in Automated Emails and a Reservation Cancelled is set for Automated Email in Rich Messages.
